Based on a surviving artifact in the British Museum, this replica pin looks great with modern and medieval fashions! The pin is cast in sterling silver, and the pinstem itself is stainless steel. Ring pins were popular throughout the Middle Ages, and even into the Renaissance. Intended for light to medium wear, they can be decorative or functional, and were worn by all classes. Just pinch the fabric through the middle of the pin, pull it through far enough for the pinstem to stab it, and let go.
