Description
This pair of brass dragon brooches was inspired by this one in the British Museum. Made from brass and given a bright finish, they have a large, bowed copper pinstem that can hold a decent amount of fabric. I made myself a pair that I use with my two layered linen dresses from Linen Garb, and they hold beautifully. The double-headed dragon style was popular in Roman-occupied Britain back in the first and second centuries, and it didn’t take long for the craze to spread to the continent.
Pin Height: 1 7/8 inches tall
